Resumen de Els think tanks: els demiürgs dels discursos polítics

Any rere any, la preséncia deis think tanks al món incrementa. Tot i que les primeres manifestacions d'aquests catalitzadors d'idees són d'inicis del segle XX, l'impuls es deu a diversos factors com el final de la Guerra Freda, l'esclat de conflictes étnics europeus, les conseqüéncies de la crisi económica global (atur, pobresa, marginació...) i, en una darrera instància, a la configuració del nou ordre mundial després deis atemptats de 1'11 de setembre del 2001. En aquest article analitzem la naturalesa deis think tanks, les diferents tipologies, la seva evolució histórica, la preséncia que tenen a l'Estat espanyol i a Catalunya i el seu pes en la batalla de les idees polítiques.

The presence of think tanks in the world increases every year. Although the first manifestations ofthese catalysts of ideas go back to the beginning of the 20th century, their boost is due to different factors such as the end of the Cold War, the outbreak of European ethnic conflicts, the consequences of the global financial recession (unemployment, poverty, marginalization...) and, finally, to the shaping of a new world order after the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. In this article we analyse the nature of the think tanks, the different types, their development throughout history, their presence in Spain and in Catalunya and their weight in the battle of the political ideas.
