This paper considers current nihilism from the perspective of one of its main characteristics: the identity crisis of contemporary man. The questions about meaning –excluded by nihilism− lead precisely to an understanding of the human person which transcends indifference and the “obviousness” of current nihilism. It unveils the teleological structure of man and of the world, pointing to God as their Foundation.
