      Las condiciones de violencia y los problemas de convivencia escolar presentes en muchas de nuestras instituciones educativas motivó el diseño y la implementación de un programa de intervención pedagógica basado en habilidades de pensamiento crítico reflexivo y aprendizaje cooperativo, orientado a la educación de la competencia socioemocional. Esta es una investigación mixta o cualicuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo-correlacional-explicativa. El estudio que se llevó a cabo es cuasiexperimental con aplicación de pretest y postest. La población estuvo constituida por niñas y niños escolarizados en los niveles de educación básica del Municipio de Medellín. Como resultado se destacan las diferencias observadas entre los puntajes del pretest y el postest cuando se analizan los grupos control y los grupos experimentales.

      The conditions of violence and life school problems present in many and our educational institutions led to the design and implementation of an educational intervention program based on critical reflective thinking skills and cooperative learning aimed to the education of the socioemotional competence. This paper presents the results of this research, which is mixed or qualitative-quantitative, descriptive-correlational-explanatory. This is a mixed or qualitative research, of the descriptive-correlational-explanatory type. study was conducted is applying quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest. The study performed is quasi-experimental being applied pretest and posttest. The population consisted of children enrolled in basic education levels of the Municipality of Medellin. An important result was the difference between the scores of pretest and posttest when analyzing the control and experimental groups.
