El artículo brinda una lectura del pensamiento de Nietzsche a través de la figura de Sócrates. Éste último servirá para ahondar en el modo cómo se desarrolla la tarea genealógica, descubriendo así dos ángulos desde los cuales se proyecta: los diagnósticos lanzados y sus respectivos pronósticos. Se trata, en definitiva, de aproximar al lector al profundo giro que supone la crítica nietzscheana.

The article offers a way ofreading Nietzsche's thought with the help ofhis depictions of Socrates. The latter will serve as a means to better understand how the genealogic task is developed, unveiling two angles from which it casts out: the diagnosis presented and its corresponding forecast. Basically, it is an attempt to describe the profound twist that Nietzsche's critique signifies to the reader.
