    La autora nos introduce en la reflexión de los principios de igualdad y equidad entre hombres y mujeres, considerados como una cuestión de derechos humanos y de justicia social, centrando así el interés por la vida de todas las personas del mundo. El proceso de igualdad real de derechos entre hombres y mujeres no existe aun en gran parte de la humanidad. Tomar conciencia de la situación y de la necesidad de promover la igualdad y la equidad entre mujeres y hombres e impulsar los procesos de autoestima y empoderamiento es tarea de todos y todas.

    The author introduces us into a reflection on the principies of equality and equity between men and women, considered as a matter of human rights and social justice. She focuses her interest on the life of the persons in this world. The process of real equality in rights between men and women does not exist still in a great part of mankind. Becoming aware of the situation and the necessity to foster equality and equity between women and men as well as driving the processes of self-esteem and empowerment is everybody's job -men's and women's alike.
