    En este artículo estudiamos los restos de caminos antiguos conservados en el paraje de Ferriol del término municipal de Elche. Es un conjunto de restos localizado junto a un barranco pertenecientes al menos a cinco trazados diferentes. El más importante es una larga y estrecha trinchera excavada en la roca que conserva rodadas en el fondo. Sus características y dimensiones permiten establecer paralelos con los caminos de acceso a algunos oppida ibéricos, por lo que se propone el mismo origen para este caso. Los otros restos conservados �pasos, rodadas y surcos también excavados en la roca� parecen pertenecer igualmente a restos de caminos antiguos, de los que uno podría corresponder a la vía Augusta.

    In this article we study the remains of ancient roads preserved in the district of Ferriol, in the town of Elche. They consist of remains beside a gully that form part of at least five different routes. The most important is a long, narrow ditch cut from the rock and preserves ruts at the bottom. Its characteristics and dimensions allow parallels to be drawn with the access roads to some Iberian oppida, so the same origin is proposed in this case. The other remains preserved � paths, wheel marks and grooves cut into the rock � also seem to belong to the remains of ancient roads, one of which may have been the Via Augusta.
