  Las queratopatías digitales se forman como respuesta del epitelio a traumatismos constantes o intermitentes. Consisten en el crecimiento del estrato espinoso y consecuentemente del estrato córneo. Generalmente, los traumatismos o microtraumatismos que las causan, se deben a hiperpresiones o fricciones ocasionadas por el calzado o por otros dedos. En la mayoría de las ocasiones existen alteraciones biomecánicas asociadas. En este artículo los autores explican la etiología y proponen un tratamiento para cada forma de presentación, con especial atención a las descargas selectivas con fieltros, a las orte- sis de silicona, soportes plantares y a la aplicación de cremas hidratantes a base de urea, a diferentes concentraciones. La urea aumenta la humedad de la piel, rehidrata el estrato corneo, ablanda y reduce el agrietamiento de la piel y las asperezas.

  The digital keratosis are formed as answer from the epithelium to constant or intermittent traumatisms. It's the growth of thorny stratum and consequently of corneum stratum. Generally, the traumatisms or microtraumatisms that cause them are due to friction of the shoe or the other fingers. In most cases exists associated biomechanics alterations. In this article the authors wants to describe some treatments for each presentation form, specially selective discharges, silicone orthoses, foot orthoses and with moisturizing creams based on urea to different concentrations. The application of creams based on urea increases the dampness of the skin, re-hydrates the corneum layer, softens and reduces the cracking of the skin and the roughnesses. It has moisturizing and keratolotic effects, provides superficial protection and regenerator effect.
