    Los plásticos líquidos, rígidos, en película, o en láminas, son una alternativa efectiva a las matrices tradicionales del arte del grabado de creación original. No requieren la acción de los ácidos, resisten la estampación, reducen peso, son de corte fácil, asequibles, aportan un lenguaje propio a la creación artística y forman parte natural de nuestra sociedad y la cultura �high tech�. Por ello su implantación y su desarrollo teórico sistematizado en los diferentes niveles en la práctica artística actual es ya indispensable y debe formar parte de la investigación y la innovación en esta área.

    The different types of plastic presentation, rigids, liduids, films or layer-like, are an effective alternative to the traditional plates for the original creation in the printmaking. The plastic material for its nature are lightweight, easily to be cut, cheaper and they can be printed. Also contrary to metal support no acid action is required in his etching process. Of course, plastics like every new material give us a new way to express and what is more, it allow the creation of a new artistic language with its own properties in correspondence with our society ant the high tech culture. In our opinion its development and introduction in different levels of our current praxis, results nowadays irreplaceable, as well as in our research and innovative projects.
