La innovación, eje de la renovación constante de la Empresa, causa de su permanencia en el mercado, está en la misma filosofía participativa de las Cooperativas. En su régimen jurídico, el Derecho Societario Cooperativo ha promovido algunas de las instituciones más avanzadas de esta parte del ordenamiento jurídico. En el caso concreto del actual Derecho Cooperativo en España, es vital superar las inercias del pasado y llevar a las Cooperativas a la unidad mercantil con el resto de Sociedades, mediante el Registro Mercantil común.

Innovation, the axis of constant renewal of the Company, the reason behind its permanence in the market, shares the same participatory philosophy of co-operatives. In its legal system, Co-operative Corporate Law has assisted some of the most advanced entities within this section of the legal framework. In the specific case of the current Spanish Co-operative Corporate Law, it is essential to overcome the inertia of the past and to take co-operatives to the business unit with the rest of companies, through the common Mercantile Register.

Berrikuntza da, izatez, enpresa etengabe eraberritzeko ardatza eta enpresak merkatuan irauteko arrazoi nagusia. Hori dela eta, berrikuntza barruratuta dago kooperatibek partaidetzari buruz duten filosofia horretan. Kooperatiba-sozietateei buruzko araubideak sustatu ditu, sustatu ere, erakunde aurreratuenetatik batzuk, antolamendu juridikoaren adar horretan. Espainiako egungo kooperatiba-zuzenbideari zehatz-mehatz erreparatuta, nahitaezkoa da iraganeko inertziak gainditzea, eta, horrekin batera, kooperatibek eta gainerako sozietateek merkataritza-batasuna eratzea, guztientzako merkataritza-erregistroa antolatuz.
