Para ello, se mencionan las aportaciones y conceptos de historiadores y críticos como Müller, White, Hutcheon o Lowenthal, y se subraya el protagonismo que el pasado tiene en la narrativa actual. son, precisamente, las novelas vascas que tratan la guerra Civil las que se analizan a continuación, en especial, las obras de ramon saizarbitoria.
Cet article commence par souligner l¿importance de la réflexion sur la mémoire dans les sciences Humaines. Pour cela, il mentionne les apports et concepts d`historiens et critiques comme Müller, White, Hutcheon ou Lowenthal, et souligne la place prépondérante du passé dans la narration actuelle. Ce sont précisément les romans basques qui traitent de la guerre Civile qui sont analysés ci-après, en particulier les oeuvres de ramon saizarbitoria.

this article examines the importance of memory and reflections on memory in the modern humanities. After a brief review of the concepts introduced by various critics and historians (Müller, White, Hutcheon, Lowenthal, etc.), we consider the prominence of memory and the past in recent narrative. Among these fictional journeys into the past, we call particular attention to Basque narrative concerning the spanish Civil War, focusing specifically on the works by ramon saizarbitoria.
