El conocimiento de la mística en el Islam o tasawwuf ha despertado siempre mucho interés. Generalmente se ha conocido a través de obras de divulgación, no siempre basadas en fuentes originales. Se ofrece aquí una versión castellana del inicio de uno de los primeros libros en que se intentó mostrar el acuerdo de esta vía mística con la ortodoxia islámica. Se trata de un texto de Abû Bakr al-Kalâbâdî, autor del siglo X, que compuso la obra titulada Kitâb al-ta'arruf li-madhab ahl al-tasawwuf.

The knowledge of mysticism in Islam or tasawwuf has always had a lot of interest. It has been generally known through popularization works, not always based on original sources. I offer here a Spanish version of the beginning of one of the first books that tried to show the agreement of this mystical path to Islamic orthodoxy. This is a text of Abu Bakr al-Kalâbâdî, who composed the book entitled Introduction to the Doctrine of the Sufis.
