    Este artículo pretende rendir homenaje a Lévi-Strauss y su análisis estructural del Edipo. A partir del lugar político de la Esfinge (que inicié en mi La ciudad y la Esfinge, Síntesis, 2005) propongo la ampliación del método, incluyendo la duplicidad de los lugares (Tebas, Corinto) y la complejidad de acciones y rememoraciones que en ellos y entre ellos suceden. Esto permite una lectura no familiarista del Edipo y una perspectiva psicoanalítica y política a la vez.

    It is the aim of the present paper to pay tribute to Lévi-Strauss and his structural analysis of the Oedipus myth.

    On the basis of the political locus of the Sphinx that the author of this paper discussed in his book La ciudad y la Esfinge (Síntesis, 2005), he suggests to extend the myth in order to include the duplicity of places (i.e. Thebes and Corinth) and the complexity of actions and memories that take place within and between the said places.

    This approach enables one both to engage in a non-familiarist reading of Oedipus myth and to adopt a psychoanalytic and, at the same time, political perspective.
