Resumen de La estadística como máquina de control biopolítico: hacia un enfoque de investigación

Desarrollamos aquí una problematización sobre la estadística como instrumento de control y administración biopolítica, donde ésta se presenta como un nuevo tipo de formulación espacial que supera de forma sutil e imperceptible la noción de territorio disciplinario. Mientras el control ejercido sobre el cuerpo en cárceles, escuelas y clínicas es de tipo territorial, local, físico, sedentario y con el encierro como objetivo, la estadística maneja diversas variables de nuestros cuerpos y subjetividades en un espacio abstracto y no territorial.

We develop here a problematization the statistics as instrument of control and administration biopolitic, where this one appears as a new type of spatial formulation that overcomes of subtle and imperceptible form the notion of the disciplinary territory. While the ctrol exercised on the body in jails, schools and clinics it is of territorial, local, physical, sedentary type and with the confinement as aim, the statistics handles diverse variables of our bodies and subjectivities in an abstract and not territorial space.
