Resumen de Cohomological properties of invariant quotients of affine spaces
We compute the Chow and the cohomology rings of varieties that are obtained as the GITquotient of affine spaces by actions of reductive groups. We prove the vanishing of the higher cohomology groups of numerically effective line bundles. As an application we prove a numerical effectiveness result for direct images of numerically effective line bundles.
