La máscara o el salto del teatro a la metafísica: Luigi Pirandellio y Luis Landero

    Abordaremos el problema de la máscara en Luigi Pirandello y Luis Landero. Lo haremos considerando cuatro novelas clave El difunto Matías Pascal y Uno, ninguno y cien mil, de Pirandello y Juegos de la edad tardía y El guitarrista, de Luis Landero. Seguiremos el camino que nos abre, principalmente, la lectura del libro El sujeto y la máscara. Nietzsche y el problema de la liberación de Gianni Vattimo. Para dilucidar la compleja tensión de ambas poéticas —entre el mundo verdadero y el aparente— procuraremos: librar el origen teatral de la palabra persona; recuperar el salto del teatro a la metafísica; interpretar la concepción nietzscheana de la máscara; analizar la fragmentación del ser y declarar una nueva ontología. Comprobaremos, por último, que a estos personajes les falta la perfección más alta, la plena actuación del acto de ser.

    We will approach the problem of the mask in Luigi Pirandello and Luis Landero. We will do it considering four Key novels Il fu Mattia Pascal and Uno, nessuno e centomila by Pirandello and Juegos de la edad tardía and El guitarrista by Luis Landero. We will follow the way that opens to us, mainly, the reading of the book Il soggetto e la maschera. Nietzsche e il problema della liberazione by Gianni Vattimo. In order to explain the complex tension of both poetic s —between the true world and the apparent one— we will try: to free the theater origin of the word person;

    to recover the jump of the theater to metaphysics; to interpret Nietzsche’s conception of the mask; to analyze the fragmentation of the being and to declare a new ontology. We will verify, finally, which of these characters need the highest perfection, the full performance of the act of being.
