El artículo estudia el papel ejercido por la jurisprudencia de la Real Audiencia en el sistema de fuentes del Derecho de Mallorca durante la época moderna. En un sistema jurídico dominado por la doctrina del Ius Commune, la jurisprudencia sirvió para garantizar la seguridad jurídica. Para facilitar su conocimiento, entre los siglos XVI y XVIII se formaron numerosos repertorios privados.

The article studies the role played by the case law produced by the Royal Court (Real Audiencia) upon the sources of law of the Majorcan legal system during the modern era. In a legal system ruled by the Ius commune doctrine, the case law guaranteed the legal certainty. In order to disseminate its knowledge, numerous private repertoires were produced between the 16th and 18th centuries.
