Resumen de Projecte de creatió de Sri Sathya Sai International School and College a l'India del Sud: filosofia educativa d'una nova escola internacional pionera en l'educació en valors

: In this article, Prof. Albert Ferrer concludes his previous articles published in Ars Brevis in the course of the last years, where he was presenting an educational philosophy and a pedagogy from India in contrast with the modern educational systems of the West. In this article, Prof. Ferrer introduces us to a new project for which he has been appointed as director, and which essentially aims at reconciling this profound educational tradition of India, in harmony with similar traditions from Ancient Europe, with the best and most humanistic from contemporary pedagogic systems in the West. This means starting a new institute that links the area of international schools and that of schools of value education, while bringing together academic excellence directed towards thinking, artistic creativity, education in human values and the enquiry into the inner self, in a cosmopolitan perspective and an atmosphere of intercultural dialogue.
This new institute will be affiliated to the prestigious International Baccalaureate from Geneva (Switzerland) and to the pioneering value education run by Sri Sathya Sai Organization, which follows the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba, the most important spiritual master of India today. It is, therefore, a question of integral or holistic education at an international level and in an intercultural dimension East/ West, that learns simultaneously from the best academic training from Europe and the West and the most profound value and spiritual education from India and Buddhist Asia. This project will also contribute to the emergence of a new theory of knowledge at the crossroads of the great traditions of mystical philosophy of mankind and the different branches of new science today (quantum physics, relational theory, deep ecology, transpersonal psychology, energetic medicine, holistic health, psychosomatic studies, etc.): an epistemological foundation and empirical evidence for education in human values at the dawn of a new paradigm.

En aquest article, el Dr. Albert Ferrer culmina els seus articles anteriors publicats a Ars Brevis en el curs dels darrers anys, on presentava una filosofia de l’educació i una pedagogia des de l'Índia en contrast amb els sistemes educatius moderns a Occident. En aquest article, el Dr. Ferrer ens ofereix un nou projecte del qual ha estat anomenat director, i que consisteix essencialment a conciliar aquesta tradició educativa profunda de l’Índia, en consonància amb tradicions similars de l’Europa antiga, amb el millor i més humanístic dels sistemes pedagògics contemporanis d’Occident. Es tracta, en definitiva, de posar en marxa un nou col·legi que vinculi l’àmbit de les escoles internacionals i el de les escoles en valors humans, conjugant l’excel·lència acadèmica orientada al pensament, la creativitat artística, l’educació en valors i la indagació de l’ésser interior, en una perspectiva cosmopolita i en un ambient de diàleg intercultural. Aquest nou centre s’adscriurà al prestigiós International Baccalaureate de Ginebra i a la pionera educació en valors de l’organització Sri Sathya Sai, fundada a partir dels ensenyaments del mestre espiritual més important de l’Índia contemporània, Sathya Sai Baba. Es tracta, en definitiva, d’una proposta d’educació integral a nivell internacional i en una dimensió intercultural Orient/ Occident, tot i aprenent al mateix temps de la millor formació acadèmica d’Europa i Occident i de la més profunda educació espiritual en valor de l’Índia i l’Àsia budista. Es tracta, també, de participar a l’elaboració d’una nova teoria del coneixement en la cruïlla entre les grans tradicions de filosofia mística de la humanitat i les diverses branques de la nova ciència avui dia (física quàntica, teoria relacional, ecologia profunda, psicologia transpersonal, medicina energètica, salut integral, estudis psicosomàtics, etc.): un fonament epistemològic i una evidència empírica per a l’educació en valors en l’albada d’un nou paradigma.
