In this paper I work on some theses of Jean-Luc Nancy that aim to show how the Cartesian dualism on which our tradition seems to settle can be read as an ontology of the in-between. This ontology should release the body of the shackles of the mind, opening a space in which the corporeality can acquire its own entity, one that is not subordinated to the soul. Based on this reading, Nancys writing can be considered as a renewed materialism, articulated on the notion of touch and on a sensual twist of sense. This will allow, in turn, to understand the contemporary world as ecotechnics and to apprehend bodies in their extension and spacing.
