Resumen de Estelas de límite en los cementerios medievales de la provincia de Burgos

Este artículo da a conocer 32 estelas inéditas halladas en la provincia de Burgos y relacionadas con templos cristianos. La conservación "in situ" de algunas de ellas confirma su función como hitos en la delimitación de los cementerios medievales que existieron en las inmediaciones de algunas iglesias y ermitas. Todas ellas son de tipología discoidea y llevan en el disco una decoración cruciforme muy sencilla. Las estelas de límite conocieron su momento de esplendor en tierras burgalesas durante el apogeo del Románico y los comienzos del Gótico (siglos XII y XIII).

In this article you can find some information about 32 unknown stelae found in the province of Burgos and related to Christian temples. The on-the-spot preservation of some of them confirms their function as milestones in the demarcation of medieval graveyards which were located in the surrounding areas of some churches and chapels. Ali of them belong to a kind of discoid typology and have got a kind of very simple cruciform decoration inside the disk. The highlight of this kind of boundary stelae around Burgos happened during the height of the Romanesque and the beginning of the Gothic periods (12lh and 131h centuries).

Artikulu honetan Burgoseko probintzian aurkitutako 32 hilarriren berri ematen da, guztiak ere kristau tenpluekin lotuta. Horietako batzuk tokian bertan mantendu dira eta horri esker egiazta daiteke zeinbait eliza eta baseliza ingurutan zeuden erdi aroko hilerrien mugarri moduan erabiltzen zirela. Guztiak dira disko erakoak eta diskoan gurutze formako oso apaingarri xumea dute . Muga hilarriak Burgosen Erromanikoa pil-pilean zegoenean eta Gotikoaren hasieran (XII eta XIII. mendeak) izan zuten mome¡ turik garrantzitsuena.
