Este artículo trata sobre los orígenes del convento de Santa Clara de Sevilla, fundación del rey Sancho IV de Castilla, comentando las últimas excavaciones arqueológicas realizadas con objeto de clarificar las distintas fases de construcción del monasterio hasta llegar al edificio actual.
This paper deals with the origins of the Franciscan convent of Santa Clara in Seville, which was founded by Sancho IV of Castile. It discusses the latest archaeological excavations carried out, the purpose of which was to verify the evolution of the various stages of the construction of the building from its origins to the present day.
