El descubrimiento de la necrópolis tardoantigua de Los Villares (Baños y Mendigo, Murcia) permite profundizar en el conocimiento de la ocupación del área central del Sureste durante este período. Se diferencian en el cementerio dos fases de utilización, cuyas características se estudian. Así, analizamos los diferentes tipos de tumba, y los aspectos rituales. También, el análisis de la dinámica interna de esta necrópolis nos permite considerar otros problemas acerca del comportamiento funerario de esta zona. Creemos que el conjunto debe datarse entre los siglos V y VI d. C.
The discovery of the late antique necropolis Los Villares (Baños y Mendigo, Murcia) allows to deepen our knowledge of the occupation of the central area of the Southeast during this period. Two phases of use are distingued in the cemetery, whose characteristics are studied. Thus, we analyse the different types of tomb, and the ritual aspects. Also, the analysis of the internal dynamic of this necropolis, gives us reason to considerer other problems about the cemeteries of the Southeast of Spain. We think that the necropolis must be dated between the fifth and sixth centuries A.D.
