  • Resumen
    • The concept of temporal perspective has been the subject of many studies in various fields of research, and has led to the development of varied methods of measurements. The observed differences according to genetic, developmental, personality, social and cultural variables are most often explained by socialization theories, piagetian theory, ericksonian theory, motivation and achievement motivation theories, action theory, and control theories. One notes frequently divergences between research results. Most often, these divergences are attributed to methodological difficulties about the methods of measurement. The existing methods are not equivalent although for some of them, information about their criterial and concurrent validity is available. Thus a model or a system able to guarantee the content validity, the relevance and the way the items are representative of the concept should be made. A proposal is offered in this regard.
