Resumen de Représentation du soi et autoattention en fonction de l'âge

Nathalie Bailly, Daniel Alaphilippe

  • The self-representation is supposed to evolve with age and with situational conditions. A first study investigates the structure of this representation and distinguishes central elements from peripheral ones according to age. A second study examines the effects produced by focalisation of self-attention on public or private self, on the evaluation of the previous elements varying with age. The results show that central elements of self representation are quite identical across age but peripheral ones are different in some ways. The situational conditions affect in particuler the peripheral elements. There is also an age effect on the private or public aspect of self attention.
