Resumen de Qualità e multifunzionalità dell´agricoltura in Umbria: elementi per un bilancio

  Quality and multifunctionality of Umbrian agriculture. - In the last two decades the results of the new practices outlined by the Common agricultural policiy, aimed at promoting increased sustainability in agricultural practices, quality in agroalimentary production, and the multifunctionality of the primary sector, have become established in Italy. This article, dedicated to the specific case of Umbria, focuses on the most significant aspects that contribute to measuring the degree of multifunctionality of agriculture and of regional agricultural farms: the qualification of the wine and olive sectors, the rediscovery of local products (through certification) and the enhanced value ascribed to their relationship to the territory and the cultural context from which they spring, the spread of organic farming, and the explosion in rural tourism. In conclusion, an encouraging picture emerges, especially considering that 2013 will see the complete opening up of the primary community sector to the market.

  Qualité et multifunctionality de l'agriculture ombrienne. - Ces deux dernières décennies, en Italie aussi se sont affirmées les tendances de la Politique agricole communautaire, toujours plus orientée à promouvoir la durabilité des pratiques agricoles, la qualité des productions agroalimentaires et la multifonctionnalité du secteur primaire. Cet article explique que parmi les régions de l'Italie du Centre, que l'on signalait pour une plus faible intensivité de l'agriculture, l'Ombrie prouve qu'elle s'est bien adaptée à ces nouvelles orientations vu qu'elle a renforcé la qualité des productions (à travers les labelisations) et qu'elle a mis en valeur son lien avec le territoire et avec le contexte culturel de référence. De tels résultats semblent prometteurs pour 2013, lorsque l'on assistera à une grande ouverture du secteur primaire communautaire au marché.
