    El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo dilucidar el papel activo y constructivo del alumnado en su proceso de aprendizaje. A pesar de la extensa bibliografía sobre el tema, la realidad demuestra que el docente sigue basando su intervención didáctica en un modelo técnico donde el discente ocupa un papel pasivo (simplemente ejecuta las tareas propuestas por su profesor). Este trabajo se sitúa en el marco de la pedagogía de la Educación Física y se dilucida cuál debe ser la visión constructivista del área, así como una intervención docente coherente con este enfoque. Se recogen, a modo de orientación, algunos principios que deberían dirigir dicha intervención.

    The present work aims to elucidate the active and constructive role of students in their learning process. Despite the extensive literature on the subject, the reality is that the teacher continues to base its educational intervention in a technical model where the learner takes a passive role (just executes the tasks proposed by his teacher). This work forms part of the teaching of Physical Education and is decided what should be the constructivist view of the area, and an instructional intervention consistent with this approach. Are collected by way of guidance, some principles that should guide such intervention.
