Evaluación de conductas sexuales agresivas en estudiantes universitarios españoles: propiedades psicométricas del Aggre­s­sive Sexual Behavior Inventory

    El objetivo de este estudio fue la obtención de los primeros datos psicométricos del Aggressive Sexual Behavior Inventory (ASBI) en población española. Para ello, se utilizaron dos muestras de varones universitarios: la primera formada por 223 sujetos con un rango de edad entre 18 y 40 años que contestaron el ASBI, la Double Standard Scale y la Rape Supportive Attitude Scale; la segunda la componían 224 sujetos con el mismo rango de edad que respondieron al ASBI, al Aggression Questionnaire de Buss y Perry, al Inventario de Expresión de Ira Estado-Rasgo STAXI-2 y al SCL-90-R. Los resultados obtenidos apoyan una estructura unidimensional de la escala, obteniéndose un coeficiente alfa de Cronbach de 0,91. Respecto a la validez, las puntuaciones del ASBI correlacionaron con la doble moral sexual, los rasgos de personalidad agresiva y las diversas dimensiones psicopatológicas recogidas en el SCL-90-R. Por último, se obtuvieron datos acerca de la frecuencia de estudiantes universitarios que informaron conductas sexuales agresivas: un promedio de 16,45% de la muestra encuestada.     The purpose of this study was to obtain the first psychometric data on the Ag-gressive Sexual Behavior Inventory (ASBI) in Spanish population. For this purpose, two male samples of the university students were utilized: one consisted of 223 subjects with the age range from 18 to 40 years who answered the ASBI, the Double Standard Scale and the Rape Supportive Attitude Scale; and the other composed by 224 subject with the same age range who responded the ASBI, the Bussy and Perry Aggression Questionnaire, the State Trait Anger Expression Inventory-2 STAXI-2 and the SCL-90-R. The results support the one-dimensional structure of the scale with Cronbach alpha coefficient of .91. In relation to the validity, the scores in the ASBI were correlated to the double sexual standard, the aggressive personality traits and different psycho¬pathological dimensions included in the SCL-90-R. Finally, the results about the frequency of aggressive sexual behavior reported by the university students were obtained: an average of 16.45% of the respondents. The results are discussed in the context of partner violence.
