El estudio de la mente se puede efectuar desde múltiples puntos de vista, siendo variadas las teorías existentes al respecto que intentan explicar su conformación y funcionamiento. En este trabajo se hará una breve mención al enfoque computacional y se presentarán los principales aspectos del enfoque socio-cultural. Se considerarán los principales conceptos del enfoque de la mente como artefacto computacional, el lenguaje como artefacto del conocimiento, la mente socio-cultural según Vygotski y seguidores y la conciliación entre la mente socio-cultural y la mente computacional.

The study of the mind can be carried out from multiple points of view, being varied the existing theories on the matter that they try to explain his conformation and operation. In this work a brief mention to the computational approach will become and the main aspects of the social-cultural approach will appear. The main concepts of the approach of the mind like computational device, the language like device of the knowledge, the social-cultural mind according to Vygotski and followers and the conciliation between the social-cultural mind and the computational mind will be considered.
