Resumen de Declive y restauración del gas en Galicia, 1936-2005
The work focuses on the study of the gas factories in Galicia after The Civil War and its later restoration in the 1990�s. The return to the gas was produced in a new environment and with different aims from the nineteenth century. While the public lighting was controlled by the electric firms, the gas was intended for home and industrial uses where it competed against the electricity. Likewise, the legal frame has been decisive in the evolution of this service, provided that the changes of the most recent years have modified drastically the operation of the gas market for the gas enterprises and the customers.
