  • The objective of this essay is to describe and analyse the current situation of personal data protection in Mexico. Therefore, if is first necessary to analyse the background to the right of access to information, and secondly, the current situation of personal data in Mexico in light of the constitutional reforms enabling its implementation. Later on, personal data protection as an independent legal discipline will be studied, and the essay will end with the author�s conclusions and considerations on its implementation.
