The excavation of the plot located at num. 16 Calle Rúa Mayor de Peralta, in Laguardia, enabled the excavation of the inside of one of the defensive towers belonging to the old town walls. Due to recent work carried out in the subsoil, hardly any fertile archaeological remains now survive, although we were able to ascertain that the structure was built at the same time as the defensive wall, during the Middle Ages. In the rest of the plot, evidence was found of the pre-charter village which stood on Laguardia hill (including, among others, a silo and several post holes).
