Contribution à l'élaboration d'un SIG pour une région steppique: wilaya de Naâma (Algérie)

    The management of a weaken space such as the steppe, deteriorated by a humans and animals activities and climate changes impose a periodical control using a cartography which permit to technicians and managers to well program their actions. The department (Wilaya) of Naâma is a good experimental space for this tool where her physical socio-economic aspects can be extrapolated to others departments (wilayas) located in Algerian "hauts plateaux" With geomatic it is possible to establish periodical maps giving transcribed information in a chart on following parameters:

    - Consented investment - Distribution of the ovine effective and pastoral load - Classifi cation of the population - Investments volume Those maps constitute tools to manage and control a strategic space where the fi nal goal is his preservation.

    La gestion d'un espace aussi fragilisé que la steppe par les activités humaines et animales et les vicissitudes du climat appelle a un suivi périodique à travers une cartographie rapide permettant aux techniciens et décideurs en charge de cet espace de bien programmer leurs actions. La wilaya (département) de Naâma est toute indiquée pour mettre au point cet outil car ses aspects physiques et socioéconomiques peuvent être extrapolés à d'autres wilayat du pays localisées dans les Hauts Plateaux algériens. Avec la géomatique il est possible d'établir des cartes périodiquement donnant des informations transcrites en graphes sur les éléments suivants:

    - investissement consentis - distribution de l'effectif ovin et charge pastorale - répartition de la population - volume des investissements Ces cartes constituent des outils de gestion et de suivi d'un espace stratégique dans le cadre de sa préservation et sa mise en valeur.
