    Este artículo analiza el contenido del Modelo de Acuerdo internacional sobre inversión para el desarrollo sostenible. Dicho texto, elaborado por el Instituto Internacional de Desarrollo sostenible, desea potenciar la dimensión social de los Acuerdos internacionales de inversión, con el objetivo de que en el futuro en los países en vías de desarrollo se priorice el aspecto cualitativo de la inversión, esto es, la inversión extranjera beneficiosa para estos Estados. La reflexión sobre los aspectos esenciales de este Modelo permite asimismo realizar un análisis de derecho comparado en la materia y vaticinar las tendencias futuras que caracterizarán al Derecho de las Inversiones internacionales prospectivo.

    This article analyzes the content of the Model Agreement on Investment for Sustainable Development. This text, prepared by the International Institute for Sustainable Development, hopes to strengthen the social dimension of international investment agreements, with the aim that in the future developing countries can prioritize the qualitative aspect of the investment. Reflecting on the essential aspects of this model also allows an analysis of comparative law in this area and predict future trends that will characterize the prospective International Investmen Law.
