¿Postmetafísica o postfilosofía?: Una cuestión metafilosófica no sólo heideggeriana

    Hay consenso en que nuestra cultura es ya �post-metafísica�. ¿Implica esto que la cultura se ha despedido ya de la filosofía? Esta cuestión no es separable de las relaciones histórico-filosóficas entre ciencia y filosofía, relaciones que de hecho determinan las posiciones metafilosóficas contemporáneas, analizadas en la primera parte. En la segunda y tercera partes se aborda la cuestión al hilo de la posición de Heidegger sobre el �final de la filosofía�. De este análisis se concluye que la cuestión �postmetafísica o postfilosofía� remite a otra cuestión, vislumbrada pero no resuelta por Heidegger: saber si las formas simbólicas conocidas hasta hoy (religión, arte, filosofía, ciencia) son un conjunto cerrado de universales transculturales o un conjunto abierto, susceptible de admitir, en el futuro, elementos nuevos.

    There is a consensus that our culture is already "post-metaphysical." Does this mean that the culture has abandoned the philosophy? This question is not separable in fact from the historical-philosophical relationships between science and philosophy. These relationships determine the contemporary metaphilosophical positions, which are analyzed in the first half. The second and third parts address the metaphilosophical question in the light of Heidegger's position on the "end of philosophy." This analysis concludes that the issue " postmetaphysics or postphilosophy?" refers to another question, envisioned but not settled by Heidegger: are the symbolic forms, known until today (religion, art, philosophy, science), a closed set of transcultural universals or an open set, able to admit new elements in the future?
