Resumen de Asimetrías (parte IV): asimetrías esqueléticas: protocolo ortodóncico-quirúrgico
In the present article, fourth and last one of this series, the combined orthodontic and surgical approach of the asymmetries of skeletal origin is presented. A stepwise analysis of the orthodontic preparation is provided, describing the orthodontic preparation and the elimination of dental compensations. Likewise, the protocol of surgical treatment planning is described, including the skeletal modification in the different planes of the space. As it was done in the previous articles of this series, some case reports are presented, in order to illustrate the treatment protocol described, regarding both the orthodontic as well as the surgical aspects.
