    A poco de cumplirse los ocho siglos de existencia de la Universidad de Salamanca en el ÇcÇaÇbÇi, la mirada se dirige hacia la celebracion del VII Centenario en el siglo pasado, en el curso ÇbÇjÇfÇd-ÇbÇjÇfÇe. Un estudio que aborda cuestiones que afectan no solo a las ceremonias y rituales llevados a cabo, sino a su significado esencial. Las carpetas y legajos de la Universidad contienen documentos que posibilitan la reconstruccion y reflexion de aquel evento que se desarrolla en plena dictadura franquista, y en el que el dictador obtiene un doctorado H.C. Sin embargo, el VII Centenario fue asimismo prologo y comienzo para conseguir distinciones en el plano universitario, entre otros, la recuperacion de la colacion del grado de doctor, la devolucion de los preciosos codices de los antiguos colegios mayores o la propuesta de un regimen especial academico para la Universidad salmantina.

    Next ÇcÇaÇbÇi the University of Salamanca will reach its Çith century anniversary, so we have searched into the celebration of the VII Centenary of its foundation during the academic year ÇbÇjÇfÇd-ÇbÇjÇfÇe of the last century. Besides of looking into the rituals and ceremonies that were carried out at the moment, our research deepens into the essential meaning of the event. The folders and bundles of the University have documents that have let us do a reconstruction and reflection of the event that took place during the Francoist Dictatorship and in which the Dictator got an Honorary doctorate. However the VII Centenary was also the prelude and the beginning to get some University honours such as the recovery of the delivery of the doctoral degree, the devolution of the precious codex from the old «Hall of residences» or the proposal of getting a special academic system for the University of Salamanca.
