Resumen de La Universidad de Salamanca bajo Felipe II en estadísticas

El presente artículo es un estudio estadístico comparativo entre los estudiantes que se matriculaban en la Universidad de Salamanca y los que obtenían cada uno de los tres grados que se podían obtener en la Universidad. Llena un vacío existente en la historiografía universitaria salmantina, ya que era necesario un estudio comparativo en la época de Felipe II. El estudio analiza la matrícula universitaria, los requisitos para formalizarla, el orden en el que quedaban inscritos y los datos estadísticos aportados. Asimismo, se analizan y comparan los datos estadísticos aportados para cada uno de los tres grados que se podían obtener en la Universidad de Salamanca, que eran el de bachiller, el de licenciado y el de doctor o maestro. Con ello, se aprecia claramente la importancia que tenía cada una de las Facultades, siendo claramente la más valorada la Facultad de Derecho Canónico y la que menos, la de Medicina.

This paper is a statistical comparative study between the students who were registering in the University of Salamanca and who were obtaining each of three degrees that could be obtained in the University. It fills an existing emptiness in the University of Salamanca historiography, since a comparative study was necessary in the epoch of Philip II. The study analyzes the university matriculation, the requirements to formalize it, the order in which there were staying new recruits and the statistical contributed information. Likewise, there are analyzed and compare the statistical information contributed for each of three degrees that could be obtained in the University of Salamanca, which they were that of graduate, that of licentiate and that of doctor or teacher. It appreciates clearly the importance that had each of the faculties, being clearly the most valued the Faculty of Canon law and that less, that of Medicine.
