La conflictividad en la administración municipal castellana. El ejemplo de la villa de Albacete en el siglo XVIII

    Con este trabajo se pretende analizar el movimiento que generan en la administra- ción municipal y territorial, las luchas por el poder, contra el poder, y, las relaciones amisto- sas o conflictivas entre los diversos poderes. Para ello presentamos el ejemplo de la todavía villa de Albacete en el siglo XVIII, con una historia muy particular marcada por los continuos enfrentamientos, intromisiones y abusos de poder de los justicias de la cercana ciudad de Chinchilla y las respuestas de la villa por liberarse y obtener plena autonomía, atizados por los numerosos pleitos entre las diferentes facciones oligárquicas que luchaban por el poder en el concejo albaceteño.

    This work aims to analyze the movement generated in the municipal and regional administration, power struggles, against the power, and the friendly or troubled relations be- tween the different powers. To do this we introduce the example of the town of Albacete in the eighteenth century, with a very particular story marked by persistent fights, sabotages and abuses of power from Justices of the nearby town of Chinchilla and the town’s responses to save and obtain full ownership, fuelled by the numerous litigations between the oligarchic factions struggling for power in the council of Albacete.
