Resumen de Múltiples representaciones en los applets:: Una alternativa para la apropiación

  Esta comunicación se inserta en un estudio más amplio de la educación en ciencias con tecnología que aspira contribuir a la formación de ciudadanos con competencias para interpretar, construir y reelaborar la información en distintos lenguajes, muchos y simultáneos, dentro del campo de la ciencia y la tecnología. Aquí en particular, se discuten algunas características de las actividades de enseñanza con simulaciones que podrían favorecer las relaciones entre las representaciones multilingües [oral, escrito, algebraico, gráfico, tecnológico] y los significados y sentidos que se construyen en la educación. Se asume que el alumno construye sus conocimientos en interacción con su entorno físico y social; que su producción depende, no sólo de la estructura interna de sus conocimientos, sino también del tipo específico de actividad de enseñanza o �situación-problema� que se le propone y de las posibles interacciones con sus pares. El uso de pequeñas simulaciones, como instrumentos para resolver una actividad, puede favorecer los aprendizajes dado que introduce cambios respecto a la motivación y a los procesos cognitivos de los sujetos participantes.

  This type of communication is inserted into a wider study of science education with technology that aspires to contribute to the formation of citizens with the competences to interpret, build and re-elaboratethe information in different languajes, many of them simultaneously, within the dield of science and technology. In this case in particular we discuss some characteristics of the teaching activities with simulations that may benefit the relationship between the multilingual representations (oral, written, algebraic, graphic, technologic) and the meanings and senses that are built in the field of education. It is assumed that students build their knowledge in interaction with their physical and social enviroment; that its production does not depend just on the internal structure of their knowledge, but also on the specific type of activity or "situation-problem" that thay are proposed and on the possible interaction among themselves. The use of small simulations as instruments for solving an activity can benefit the learning due to the changes regarding the motivation and the cognitive processes of the subjects involved that it introduces.
