El objetivo de este trabajo es exponer ciertos fragmentos del imaginario social presentes en Ygdrasil de Jorge Baradit, a través del análisis de sus epígrafes. Por este medio realizo un ejercicio en el que establezco la recurrencia de tres códigos �religioso, organicista y tecnológico� y concluyo que su mezcla deviene totalitarismo, dado que el mesianismo de la novela anuncia las bodas de la humanidad con la tecnología, en pos de una unificación informática posthumana.

The aim of this paper is to expose some fragments of social imaginary present in Jorge Baradit�s Ygdrasil, by means of the analysis of its epigraphs. By this way I establish the recurrence of three codes �religious, organicist and technological� and I conclude that its mixture develops totalitarianism, since the messianism in the novel announces the weddings of the humanity with the technology in pursuit of a computer posthuman unification.
