L'educació com a personalització a Emmanuel Mounier: una psicologia del valors per despertar la persona

    En aquest article, hom vol fer notar la important aportació del pensament personalista d’Emmanuel Mounier per a la comprensió del món actual en els àmbits diversos –malgrat el poc reconeixement que ha tingut- i, en especial, en l’àmbit de l’educació. Se centra així en el significat de l’educació per a l’ésser humà com a persona, a partir de l’arrel grega de la “paideia”, i aprofundint en el creixement personalitzador davant de les dificultats que presenta el món d’avui, diferent però alhora semblant al que Mounier va haver de fer front.

    A partir d’una anàlisi succinta dels problemes que l’educació té avui pendents de resoldre, l’article finalitza amb unes propostes orientadores seguint i utilitzant els eixos filosoficopedagògics exposats per Mounier.

    The aim of this article is to point out, despite the scarce acknowledgement he has received, of the outstanding contribution of Emmanuel Mounier’s personal thought to the understanding of today’s world in a range of fields, especially in the education sphere.

    He focuses on the meaning of education for the human being as a person, from the greek root of “paideia”, and the personal growth when facing the hardships the present world shows, different but, at the same time, similar to the one Mounier had to cop with.

    From a concise analysis of the unresolved problems that education still suffers, the article ends with some guiding proposals following and using the philosofical-pedagogical axes put forward by Mounier.
