Esta comunicación da cuenta de los resultados de las tres últimas campañas llevadas a cabo en al Madam (Sharjah, UAE). Se han seleccionado hallazgos que relacionan el sitio con el entorno natural: un pozo en el poblado, un falaj o galerie du captage, y un área de elaboración de adobes. Los tres demuestran el perfecto conocimiento que los habitantes tenían de las posibilidades naturales de su medio natural y el uso que hacían del mismo. Pero también revelan las causas del forzado abandono final del sitio

This paper gives an account of the results of the last three seasons carried out in al-Madam (Sharjah, UAE). We have selected some finds which relate the site to the natural environment: a well in the village, a falaj or galerie du captage and a mudbrick working area. The three demonstrate the perfect knowledge that the inhabitants had of the natural possibilities of their environment and the use that they did of it. But also they reveal the causes of the forced final abandonment of the site
