Los herederos del antiguo Marqués de San Adrián, de Tudela, conservan una pintura fechable en la década de 1560 con una imagen masculina de medio cuerpo de un antepasado familiar, que creemos se trata de Pedro Magallón y Veráiz y que atribuimos al pintor flamenco Rolán Moys. El cuadro fue objeto de atención y restauración en el siglo XIX, cuando se trasladó de Tudela a Madrid, y entonces se identificó erróneamente como un retrato de Pedro Villalón de Calcena, Deán de la catedral de Tudela y se adjudicó sin ninguna base documental o estilística a Tiziano.

The heirs of the late Marquis of San Adrián, from Tudela, keep a painting, datable in the decade of the 1560's, showing a male ancestor of the family in half length, whom we believe to represent Pedro Magallón y Veráiz, and attribute to the Flemish painter Rolán Moys. The picture was subject of attention and restoration in the 19th century, when it was transferred from Tudela to Madrid, then erroneously identified as the portrait of Pedro Villalón de Calcena, Dean of Tudela cathedral, and attributed to Titian on no documentary or stylistic basis.
