Resumen de Cintractia majewskii, a new smut fungus (Ustilaginomysetes) on Fimbristylis (Cyperaceae) from Africa
A new species of smut fungi, Cintractia majewskii M. Pi¹tek & Vánky sp. nov. on Fimbristylis sp., collected in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa, is described, illustrated and compared with similar taxa. A key for the identification of the eight smut fungi on Fimbristylis spp. is provided.
