    El juguete, por dirigirse al niño, está sometido a una gran carga normativa en materia de seguridad, desproporcionadamente superior a la que recae sobre cualquier otro producto que llega o pueda llegar al niño.

    Por diversos motivos. Uno de ellos es que es el único producto dirigido a los niños que tiene una directiva específica. Otro, la aún escasa conciencia de que el juguete es un instrumento vital en el desarrollo infantil.

    Pero el altísimo nivel de exigencia ha creado una industria capaz de responder a los más estrictos requerimientos técnicos y, a la vez, a la necesidad de crear un producto puesto al servicio de la actividad más inagotable y la imaginación más desbordante, como es la de un niño.

    Toys, because they are directed to children, are subject to a wide and strict legislation on safety, disproportonately stringent compared to any other product for children, for some reasons. One of them, the fact that toys are the only consumer product with a specific Directive.

    Another one, the still limited awareness about toys being a vital tool in children�s development. But the extremely high level of demand has created an industry that is able to respond to the most strict technical requirements and, at the same time, to the need of creating a product for the service of the most inexhasustible activity and the boundless imagination of all: those of a child.
