  • Resumen
    • This article examines certain matters related to the evolution of the ancient ending in -n, with the purpose of completing Mitxelena's theories. Its main novelty consists of integrating new data on toponimics, especially from Navarre, which have been published recently. In opinion of the author, after i-, there is a general reduction of the hiatuses produced when losing the -n- in the ancient -ane, -one and -anu endings, a phenomenon that has been treated coherently until the present day.
