Resumen de Formación MIR en Atención Primaria: experiencias en Andalucía

La incorporación de los pediatras a los equipos básicos de Atención Primaria en Andalucía ha supuesto que aproximadamente el 75% de los especialistas formados en la última década ejerzan su labor en este ámbito, sin que exista todavía una formación reglada del médico residente fuera de los hospitales. En el año 1999 un grupo de profesionales motivados elaboran un documento inicial justificando la necesidad de la rotación de los MIR de Pediatría por Atención Primaria, que por aquel entonces es escasa y desestructurada. Las conclusiones de una encuesta posterior enviada a los profesionales andaluces permiten conocer qué centros acreditados de medicina de familia y qué pediatras tutores reciben residentes.
Paralelamente, se establecen contactos con representantes de otras comunidades.
Una vez evaluada la situación real en nuestro entorno, en el año 2001 se crea el Grupo de Trabajo sobre Docencia de la Asociación de Pediatras de Atención Primaria de Andalucía, encargado de impulsar el documento de Acreditación de Centros y Tutores de Atención Primaria, discutido durante un taller celebrado en las jornadas anuales de Almería y aprobado en la Asamblea de Marbella en 2002. Desde entonces, se inicia la estrategia de difusión e implantación del mismo, llegando a la situación actual, en la que aún sin reglamentación oficial aceptada, la mayoría de los MIR que hoy se forman en Andalucía hacen rotaciones variables por Atención Primaria. Actualmente, lo hacen en siete de las ocho provincias, en un total de 57 centros de salud.

The incorporation of paediatricians to the Primary Care team in Andalusia has made that approximately 75% of the specialists formed in the last decade will work in this scope, without a regulated formation of the training resident outside the hospitals. In 1999, a group of motivated professionals drafts an initial document justifying the necessity of the rotation of the MIR of Paediatric by primary care, at that time little and not structured. The conclusions of a later survey sent to the Andalusian professionals allow knowing what accredited centers from P.C. and what paediatricians receives residents. Parallelly, contacts with representative people of other communities settle down. Once evaluated the real situation, in year 2001 the work group is created on Teaching of the Association of Paediatricians of Primary Care of Andalusia, ordered to impel the document of Accreditation of Centers and Tutors of Primary Care, discussed during a meeting celebrated in Almería and approved in the Assembly of Marbella in 2002. Since then, the diffusion strategy begins and implantation of the same one, arriving at the present situation, in which even without accepted official regulation, most of the MIR that today are formed in Andalusia display variable rotations by Primary Care, actually in seven of the eight provinces and 57 PC settings.
