Una tablilla del archivo mesoasirio M4 de Assur, nos muestra la impresión de un cilindro perteneciente al rey cassita Kadasman-Turgu. . El grabado representa una escena excepcional de investidura con un niño, acompañado de dos animales madres amamantando a sus crías. El motivo animal, que expresa alegóricamente la protección y los cuidados reales, fue elegido unos 50 años más tarde por un sacerdote en funciones bajo el reinado de Adad-sumi-iddina, pero con un personaje exorcizando en el contexto. La iconografía y la composición de ambos temas fueron comparados críticamente bajo el aspecto histórico. Dependiendo de otros atributos el significado de este tema puede reflejar tanto un periodo político de seguridad como también la época de confusión y guerras de la historia cassita.

A tablet from the middle Assyrian archive M4 from Assur shows the impression of a cylinder seal which once belonged to the kassite ruler Kadasman-Turgu. It represents an exceptional kind of investiture accompanied by two registers promoting "suckling animals". Similar animal scenes, but in combination with an exorcistic goddess, were used for the seal-picture of a high priest holding office 50 years later during the reign of the kassite king Adad-sumu-iddina. The iconographic peculiarities had been compared and critically interpreted in the light of historical events. Thus it revealed the allegorical significance of the ikon ''suckling animal" symbolizes the care of the dynasty for its subjects. According to the attributes it serves to reflect both the politically stable epochs and the troubled warridden eras in Kassite history
