Resumen de Carleton Community High School walking with astronauts
In applying for Specialist Science School status, Carleton Community High School had to do something special. With the observatory of the West Yorkshire Astronomical Society almost next door, space seemed a natural choice and a plan was hatched to invite one of the astronauts who have walked on the Moon. This proved so popular that the observatory has now had four of these unique visitors in as many years, giving presentations to school and public audiences, and it is not over yet.
