  • In this interview, Charles M. Reigeluth shares his vision of systemic change in education, a learningfocused paradigm that uses technology to transform learning. For the field of instruction, he recommends researchers focus on guidance for teachers in creating "learner-centered" environments. The themes of "what to teach and how to teach it," "knowledge acquisition or knowledge construction," and how to foster meaningful student learning and problem solving are discussed. This interview with Professor Reigeluth ends with a conversation on instructional design theory and its impact on teaching.
