    En los últimos tiempos el análisis de la situación social del artista en la España barroca dibuja con creciente nitidez los perfiles contrastados entre los grandes maestros y su profunda huella, y el horizonte de taller, estética y profesionalmente cohesionado. Ejemplos de ambos extremos se comprueban en la saga de los Mora. Importa destacar aquí la extensión de las obras del taller fuera del ámbito granadino, afirmando el papel nuclear desempeñado por la escuela granadina en Andalucía oriental, y revelar nuevos miembros activos de esta familia, a través de documentación inédita.

    Recent analyses of the artist's social situation during the Baroque period in Spain have enabled us to define more precisely the characteristics of the great individual masters and the extent of their influence, and also to establish the sphere of influence of the workshop, which was an aesthetically and professionally cohesive entity. Examples of both these aspects can be found within the Mora family. In this paper we establish the repercussions of works coming from this workshop beyond the immediate area of Granada, demonstrate the important role played by the School of Granada in Eastern Andalusia, and bring to light the activities of previously unknown members of the family, by means of a study of unpublished documents.
